Parting out a 1975 flxible bus. Running a Detroit diesel 8v71 with v-drive, oil cooled altenator, radiator etc. Still in its mounting cradle, four bolts hooks it up. Everthing but the body goes. Running gear, steering gear, wheels, whatever.

For Sale: 6v71 Detroit Engine with Allison tranny from a mid 70s GMC bus, we don't know much about it however, it does turn over. We were told that it ran good two years ago when bus was parked but I can't verify that. Can include all accessories including cradle or I will sell off individual parts. We are scraping the bus out so any offer above scrap value will be considered.

Right hand turning detroit diesel 8v71 out of a MCI bus.This rebuilt engine has been run only 90 miles.The coach was purchased for a conversion project. After the conversion was started the owner decided to use a series 60. He pulled the 71 and I purchased it from him. Inside the valve covers is as clean as new. The oil is still clear. The engine is located in Pine Bluff, Ark. (central part of the state). Price $6000. Call for more info if interested.

These are a take out from a wrecked 2005 MCI J4500 BUS and were not damaged in the incident.
They have been Dyno tested and checked by
AMERICAN FLEET SERVICE CENTER
The Turbo was replaced and the entire engine was serviced.
All the filters and fluids have been replaced; the pair is ready to go,

This is an EGR engine and passes the NOX rules for 2005.
